Leadership has its moments, some good, some tough.
Pros: Your direct manager usually has your back; that's a big plus for team collaboration. We get some decent autonomy on projects as a Senior Software Engineer. The hybrid work model is also quite flexible, which helps a lot with my work-life balance.
Cons: Upper leadership often changes direction without much warning, which gets frustrating. Communication from the top can be pretty vague sometimes. It's tough when they don't seem to fully grasp the technical challenges in e-commerce SaaS.
Advice to Management: Try to get more direct feedback from engineering teams before making big strategic pivots. Clearer communication from senior leadership on company direction would really help everyone.

Decent Benefits, Salary Needs Improvement in Seattle
Pros: Health, dental, and vision benefits are pretty solid. They're a good perk for a mid-size tech company in e-commerce analytics. Equity grants had some potential, especially if you joined earlier.
Cons: The base salary for an Account Manager in the Seattle office felt low compared to market. Commission structure was tough to consistently hit, impacting overall pay. Don't expect big tech compensation.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the compensation bands, especially for client-facing Account Manager roles. Make the commission plan clearer and more achievable to better compete in the market.

Hybrid model is a bit tough sometimes
Pros: You do get some WFH days with their hybrid model, which is nice for avoiding the Seattle, WA traffic. They're generally okay if you need to schedule appointments during the day for personal stuff. It's a typical tech startup vibe.
Cons: The official hybrid model isn't always respected, especially for engineering roles. Managers often expect you in the office more than the policy states. Sometimes it feels like you're tied to your desk even when working on e-commerce analytics projects remotely.
Advice to Management: Please stick to the stated hybrid policy for all roles, especially for engineering. More clarity on WFH expectations would really help with overall work-life balance and trust.
