Advice to Management: Management should try to enforce stricter policies around project scope to prevent consultants from getting overwhelmed. Better staffing for critical cloud projects would help.

Pros: You get to work on a lot of different cloud computing projects here. It's great for expanding your technical skills as a Cloud Engineer. I learned a ton from the senior folks on new tech.
Cons: There's no clear path for promotions or moving up. You kinda have to make your own opportunities. It feels like significant career growth is limited after a certain point, especially into leadership roles.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to create clearer career paths and promotion frameworks. It would help a lot with retention for cloud professionals if there were more defined growth opportunities beyond just learning.

Pros: I really liked the WFH flexibility as a Cloud Solutions Architect. It's solid for managing personal stuff. You get to work on diverse cloud consulting projects too, which is a big plus for learning.
Cons: The biggest issue is definitely the unpredictable hours. Some IT services projects require a lot of late nights, especially near deadlines, and it's not always compensated. This really impacts your work-life balance.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries with clients on project scope and overtime expectations. It would really help with employee burnout.
