Great Team and Learning in Industrial Services
Pros: I really value the supportive team and the opportunities to learn new skills in the industrial services industry. The collaborative culture makes it a great place to work, and I feel genuinely valued for my contributions to temporary power projects.
Cons: Approval processes can sometimes be slow, affecting project timelines. While career progression feels a bit slower than desired, there are clear paths if you're patient and proactive.
Advice to Management: Continue to foster the collaborative culture and look for ways to streamline approval processes to enhance project efficiency and speed up career development opportunities.

Career growth can be slow here
Pros: Aggreko is a big global player in temporary power generation and industrial rental equipment, so there's good job security if you do well. The benefits package is decent, and I learned a lot about the energy solutions industry.
Cons: Moving up as a Project Coordinator was harder than I thought. Internal career growth paths aren't always clear, especially in the US operations. Sometimes you're stuck waiting for someone to retire to get a promotion.
Advice to Management: Managers should create clearer development plans for employees. It would help a lot with retention, especially for roles like Project Coordinator. Make it easier to see how to advance within the company.

Decent place, but flexibility needs work.
Pros: They do offer a hybrid model for some corporate roles, which is nice. As a Project Coordinator, I usually get two WFH days a week if my projects allow. It helps a bit with work-life balance.
Cons: Work flexibility isn't consistent, especially for field-based roles handling temporary power solutions. Those guys are always on call. Also, getting approvals for schedule changes can be a hassle in the Houston office.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize flexible work policies across all departments, not just corporate. Support for field-based staff dealing with critical power generation equipment needs to improve regarding their time off and schedules.
