Decent Place, But Keep An Eye Out
Pros: I liked the work flexibility here; being remote from California was a huge plus. The WFH setup is solid. They also have decent benefits, especially for a mid-sized tech company.
Cons: Job security for software development roles isn't always clear cut, especially with shifts in project priorities. I've seen some team changes that made me wonder about long-term roles.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent about company direction and how it impacts different software development teams. Clearer communication would help a lot with employee morale.

Leadership needs to get real with us
Pros: My direct lead was pretty good, honestly. They protected our sprint time and were supportive of a decent work-life balance, especially for those in backend development.
Cons: Upper management is totally disconnected from what we do day-to-day. There's so much internal politicking in the Seattle office. It really impacts morale and makes career growth feel stagnant for Software Engineers.
Advice to Management: Stop the internal power struggles. Listen to your teams on the ground. Invest in actual development for your engineers instead of just talk.
