Remote work is solid, but project demands vary
Pros: The remote setup is a huge plus for data analytics roles. You can mostly manage your own schedule, especially when you're not client-facing all day. It's great to work from my home office in Texas.
Cons: Sometimes project deadlines mean late nights, even with WFH options. The 'flexible hours' concept goes out the window when a client needs something ASAP. It's not always a consistent 40-hour week, which can be tough for work-life balance.
Advice to Management: Try to manage client expectations better so that the flexible work arrangements for us in IT consulting don't get constantly overridden. Protecting employee time really helps morale.

Flexibility is Okay, But It Varies
Pros: I like that there are remote work options for data analytics roles. As a Data Analyst, I've often worked from home a few days a week. That really helps with my personal schedule in Dallas.
Cons: It's not a consistent hybrid model across all data science projects, though. Some projects make you come in full-time, which isn't ideal. This lack of predictable work flexibility can be frustrating.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize remote and hybrid work policies across all data science projects. It would help a lot with employee morale and work-life balance for Data Analysts.

Culture is evolving, some good, some challenging
Pros: I've worked as a Data Engineer here remotely for a while. The team members are generally collaborative, which is great for tackling complex data science projects. There's a decent sense of camaraderie among the junior staff.
Cons: However, the overall company culture can feel a bit top-down sometimes. Decisions aren't always transparent, and I've seen some burnout among colleagues due to fluctuating project demands, especially in this digital transformation industry. It's hard to feel fully connected as a remote employee.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving transparency in decision-making and better managing project workloads to prevent burnout. More communication for remote employees would really help build a stronger, more inclusive company culture.
