Pros: I love the remote work flexibility; it's a huge plus. The WFH setup makes for a pretty solid work-life balance for a fintech company. My team is great, and there's a lot of interesting data to work with on the trading platform.
Cons: The pay and benefit package just isn't competitive, especially for a Software Engineer. My base salary was around $120k, which is low compared to other big tech companies. The 401k match isn't great either, so it's tough to feel valued.
Advice to Management: You really need to review compensation for engineering roles. You're going to lose good talent to competitors offering better packages.
