Decent Place for Entry-Level IT Consulting Roles
Pros: The health insurance and 401k match are actually pretty good here. It's a solid part of the overall compensation package. They also offer a flexible spending account which is a nice perk for managing costs.
Cons: Base salary for Project Coordinator roles isn't very competitive, especially if you're working in the Chicago area. I've definitely seen better offers elsewhere in the IT consulting industry. Raises and bonuses feel pretty minimal, even with good performance.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the salary bands for entry and mid-level roles, especially in key markets like Chicago. A stronger base pay for IT Project Coordinator positions would help with retention in the competitive IT consulting industry.

Project-Based Work Means Less Job Security
Pros: When you're on a solid client project, things are usually stable. It's a good mid-sized company for gaining diverse experience in tech consulting. You learn a lot, especially for a Business Analyst role.
Cons: Job security here is pretty tough because it's so project-dependent. I've seen a few rounds of yearly layoffs, often impacting remote team members first. If your project ends, you might be out of luck quickly.
Advice to Management: Try to create more internal roles or a buffer for employees between client projects. It'd really help with morale and reduce the fear of sudden layoffs. Invest in retaining good talent.
