Great Place for Growth in Mobile Tech
Pros: Working at Bending Spoons as a Software Engineer has been a fantastic experience for my career development. The mobile app industry here in Milan is incredibly dynamic, and this company really pushes you. You're constantly learning new tech and best practices from genuinely smart people. It's a high-performance tech company, so if you're ambitious and want to grow fast, you'll thrive.
Cons: While the pace is exciting, it can be pretty intense. Work-life balance can sometimes get stretched, especially during crunch times, which is typical for a fast-growing tech company. Also, with rapid expansion, internal communication across different product teams could occasionally be clearer to keep everyone fully aligned.
Advice to Management: Keep fostering the learning culture. Also, consider implementing more structured cross-team communication processes to help manage growth challenges and better support employee well-being during busy periods.

Great Pay & Perks at a Dynamic Tech Company
Pros: As a Senior Software Engineer, the competitive pay and strong benefits in mobile app development are excellent. I love learning from smart colleagues, and Bending Spoons' remote-first policy offers great work flexibility.
Cons: Work can be intense, challenging my work-life balance during peak projects. Communication across our distributed tech teams could also be more streamlined, which is a common challenge for remote-first companies.
Advice to Management: Continue to invest in tools and processes that support work-life balance for all roles, especially during peak project cycles. Clearer communication on long-term strategy would also be beneficial for a remote-first tech company.

Challenging but Rewarding Mobile App Development Role
Pros: As a Software Engineer, I've loved the fast-paced mobile app development environment in Milan. You learn tons working with brilliant colleagues on impactful projects. There's real opportunity for career growth using cutting-edge tech. The culture values innovation and taking ownership.
Cons: The intense pace means occasional long hours, so work-life balance needs proactive management. It's not a 9-to-5 job, especially during crunch times. Communication could improve across rapidly growing teams to streamline workflows.
Advice to Management: Continue to refine processes to help manage the demanding pace and occasional long hours, ensuring sustainable work-life balance for all, especially as teams scale. Improve cross-team communication further.
