Pros: I mostly hit about 40-45 hours a week, which is fine for a software development job. The hybrid model is nice for the San Francisco office, it cuts down on my commute. My manager's pretty good about needing to leave early sometimes.
Cons: Project deadlines can mean crunch time, especially before a big tech release. There's not much wiggle room in the hybrid schedule if you need more flexibility as a Junior Software Engineer. You can't just pick your WFH days.
Advice to Management: Try to smooth out the crunch times a bit more for the engineering teams. More flexible options for the hybrid model would be appreciated.

Pros: It's great working with my immediate team; we're a tight-knit bunch, which helps for Data Analyst roles. There's a solid sense of camaraderie, especially when tackling complex projects in the data science industry. The hybrid work model in the Austin office is a big plus for work-life balance.
Cons: Overall company culture feels a bit disconnected, though. It's a pretty large corporate environment, so decisions from leadership can be slow, making some initiatives feel pointless. There's not enough transparency sometimes, which makes you question the bigger picture.
Advice to Management: Try to foster more cross-team collaboration and increase transparency. Listen to what people on the ground are actually saying, not just what's reported. Empower teams to make more decisions instead of having everything trickle down.
