Pros: Teams here are generally pretty supportive. As a Software Engineer, I found my immediate colleagues to be really collaborative. They often plan social events, which helps morale, especially for a big tech company.
Cons: It's tough when you need to work with other departments, though. There isn't much cross-functional collaboration. Things can feel pretty siloed, even working hybrid from the Austin office.
Advice to Management: Leadership should focus on breaking down silos between departments to foster better cross-functional projects. Improving this would really boost overall company culture.

Pros: The teams are really supportive. As a Software Engineer, I felt like my immediate peers always had my back. There's good camaraderie, especially in the Austin, TX office before the full hybrid switch.
Cons: The culture has shifted a lot since we moved to a hybrid model. It's tough to build connections when you're not always onsite. Leadership also seems a bit out of touch with the day-to-day for junior tech roles.
Advice to Management: Focus on intentional team-building activities that actually work for hybrid teams. Get leadership more involved and visible with the different engineering teams. Transparency helps a lot with employee morale.

Pros: The base salary as a Software Engineer is competitive, especially for the Austin, TX market. They offer solid health insurance, which is a big plus for a mid-sized tech company.
Cons: The bonus structure isn't great; it's pretty hard to hit targets. Also, the 401k match is pretty low, and PTO days are limited compared to other tech industry companies. It's tough if you're looking for strong work flexibility.
Advice to Management: Consider improving the 401k match and revisiting the bonus structure to be more achievable. Offering more PTO would also significantly improve employee satisfaction and retention.
