Pros: As an Economic Development Specialist, the hybrid work model is a solid perk. It's nice to have some days in the Albany office and others at home. This arrangement definitely helps with my commute and offers some work-life balance.
Cons: The flexibility can be inconsistent though. Sometimes getting approval for WFH days feels like a battle, even for my specific public administration role. There's not much room for true work flexibility beyond the set hybrid schedule, which can be tough when you need it most.
Advice to Management: Management should really standardize the hybrid policy across all divisions. Make it clearer how employees can utilize work from home options without constant approvals. Consistent application would boost morale.
