Okay for a bit, then career growth stalls
Pros: I've learned a lot getting hands-on with different tech stack projects as a remote Software Engineer. The team itself is solid, and there's good knowledge sharing if you seek it out. It's a decent place to get some initial experience in the tech industry.
Cons: Career growth here is tough; there aren't many clear promotion paths for engineers. Formal training budgets are pretty small, so you're mostly on your own for skill development. It's hard to move up without a lot of self-advocacy and a bit of luck.
Advice to Management: Management needs to create clearer career progression frameworks for technical roles. Invest more in employee development and mentorship programs, especially for those in remote positions. This would really boost morale and retention.
