Pros: My direct manager in the Bangalore office was pretty solid, really helpful for day-to-day tasks. There's also good work-life balance for Software Engineer roles, which is a plus in e-commerce tech.
Cons: Upper management often seems out of touch with ground-level work. Decision-making can be slow, and sometimes there's just not clear communication on strategy, which makes it tough to feel aligned.
Advice to Management: Work on improving transparency and communication from the top. Get closer to the teams and understand the on-the-ground challenges for engineers in this corporate setting. Clearer vision from leadership would help a lot.

Pros: The remote work setup is pretty solid for Software Engineer roles, letting you WFH from anywhere in India. The pay and benefits are also decent for a big tech company. You do get to work on interesting e-commerce platform challenges sometimes.
Cons: Upper management often lacks clear vision, which makes software development tough. There's a lot of micromanagement, especially from some team leads. It's hard to feel empowered when decisions constantly get second-guessed. This really impacts morale.
Advice to Management: Focus on giving your team leads and managers more autonomy. Trust them to lead. Provide clearer strategic direction from the top. Less micromanaging would greatly improve employee retention and overall productivity for our software development teams.
