Pros: My immediate team leads and managers are usually pretty good. They give clear goals for software development projects. The hybrid model in our Austin, TX office offers some flexibility too.
Cons: Senior leadership can feel really disconnected from day-to-day work. Decisions take forever, which slows down progress for engineering roles. There's not much clear path for internal promotions either.
Advice to Management: Focus on better communication from the executive level. Create clearer pathways for career growth, especially for those in software development. Invest more in developing internal talent.
