Blitzy's Hybrid Model Can Be Tough
Pros: Initially, Blitzy had a pretty solid remote work option, which was great for my work-life balance. Being able to work from home really helped manage personal stuff. It was a big perk for engineering roles.
Cons: They switched to a mandatory hybrid schedule, making us come into the office three days a week. For a mid-size tech company, it feels less flexible than it should be. It definitely impacted my ability to manage my time.
Advice to Management: Management should really look at how the hybrid policy affects employee morale and productivity, especially for the dev team. More trust in remote options could make a big difference.

Leadership's fine, but things could be better
Pros: I liked the team I worked with directly as an Associate Product Manager. There's good access to senior people for informal mentorship in the Seattle office, which is a huge plus for career development in the tech industry. It's not a bad place to learn the ropes.
Cons: The higher-up leadership often feels out of touch with what's actually happening on the ground. Decisions sometimes come down without much explanation or seem to change on a dime. This makes planning tough for us in product development.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate more clearly about strategic shifts and involve managers earlier in the decision-making process. It would really help with team morale and overall clarity.

Leadership is Okay, But Needs Improvement
Pros: Some of the team leads are really good. They try to support us and keep things positive within our immediate engineering teams. It's a decent place for a tech startup environment.
Cons: The higher-ups, though? They often feel disconnected. Major decisions come down from the top without much input from us as Software Engineers. It makes career growth tough sometimes.
Advice to Management: You need to actually listen to your individual contributors. Create clearer growth paths for Software Engineers and be more transparent with big decisions.
