Pros: You get solid remote options, which is great. I can work from home a few days a week, which really helps with my commute to the Oslo office. They're generally okay with flexible hours if you need to manage personal stuff.
Cons: Sometimes, specific data engineering projects demand more onsite collaboration. This can make true work-from-anywhere tricky for some technical roles. It feels like flexibility isn't uniform across all teams.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize work flexibility policies across all departments, especially for those in data engineering roles. It would help a lot with consistency.

Pros: I really liked the people here. Everyone's super smart and generally helpful, which is great as a Data Engineer. The focus on Industrial AI is exciting, you learn a ton in this growing tech company. There's a decent hybrid model in the Oslo office, so you're not always chained to your desk.
Cons: The company culture feels a bit inconsistent sometimes, especially with new hires. It's tough to build strong bonds when teams are changing a lot. Work-life balance can be tricky during project pushes, sometimes it feels like more than 40-hour weeks.
Advice to Management: Try to stabilize team structures and really double down on consistent communication about company values. Help foster those team bonds, especially with the hybrid model.

Pros: I really appreciate the hybrid model here, usually 2-3 days in the Austin office. It gives me solid work-life balance as a Software Engineer. Plus, I can usually shift my hours a bit to handle personal stuff.
Cons: There's some inconsistency with the hybrid rules across different teams, which gets annoying. True remote options are pretty rare, even for roles where it seems perfectly feasible. It's not a fully remote setup, so don't expect that.
Advice to Management: Try to be more consistent with work-from-office expectations across different departments. Also, consider expanding genuine remote roles where it makes sense, especially for specialized engineering talent.
