Culture is okay, but it's tough remotely
Pros: The team on my specific IT consulting projects was usually pretty solid. Everyone's generally helpful when you reach out. There's a decent focus on getting the project delivery done right for clients, which I appreciate.
Cons: The company culture feels a bit disconnected, especially for remote employees. It's hard to build strong relationships when you're not in an office. They could really improve team-building activities outside of just project work.
Advice to Management: Focus more on intentional remote team building. Maybe virtual social events or smaller group meetups. It'd really help with connection.

RTC: Decent Flexibility, Client-Dependent
Pros: Honestly, some projects let you work remote a lot. It's great if you land on one with a hybrid work model. As an IT Consultant, I did appreciate the days I didn't have to commute.
Cons: But it's not consistent, you know? Many clients demand onsite work, which limits true flexibility. It felt like my work arrangement depended more on them than RTC's policies. For junior roles, especially, it can be tough to negotiate.
Advice to Management: Try to push for more remote-friendly client contracts. Standardize WFH policies across all projects, not just client-dependent.

Okay for a start, tough for growth.
Pros: The initial training for new Associate Consultants is solid, and you get good exposure to different client projects. It's a mid-sized firm, so you're not just a number, which is nice.
Cons: Career progression feels pretty slow here. There isn't a clear path for promotions or skill development beyond the entry level, especially for those working remote. It's tough to see what's next in the tech consulting space.
Advice to Management: Management should really work on defining clear career paths and growth opportunities for their consultants. It would help with retention in the competitive tech consulting space.
