Pros: The base salary for sales roles, especially for an Account Executive, is pretty competitive for the Austin, TX market. You can make good money if you hit your quota; the commission structure works.
Cons: The health insurance plans are just okay, and they're pretty expensive. Don't expect a great 401k match either, it's on the low side. Not much in terms of extra perks or wellness programs.
Advice to Management: Seriously look at improving the health insurance options and boosting the 401k match. Better benefits would definitely help retain your top Account Executives.

Pros: I like that it's a fully remote setup for many sales roles, so I can work from my home office in Austin. There's some decent flexibility to schedule your own breaks if you manage your pipeline well. It's not a micromanaged environment.
Cons: Despite being remote, the daily schedule for an SDR can feel rigid because of meeting blocks. For a startup in B2B sales, I thought there'd be more leeway with scheduling client outreach. It's hard to truly step away during the day.
Advice to Management: Give SDRs more autonomy over their daily schedules instead of strict meeting blocks. Trust your team to hit goals without constant oversight on their availability.
