Pros: The cutting-edge biotechnology research is truly inspiring. As a Research Associate, I got to work on some unique projects with smart colleagues in the San Francisco office. It's a great place if you love the science itself.
Cons: Leadership can be inconsistent, especially for junior scientific staff. There's often a lack of clear direction, which makes project planning tough for these key research roles. Senior leadership rarely seems to really listen to feedback from the trenches.
Advice to Management: Management needs to focus on clearer communication and provide more consistent guidance to scientific teams. Listen to feedback from individual contributors to improve project execution and career paths for all roles.
