Pros: As an Investment Analyst, I've gotten so much exposure to various startup investing deals. The partners are really engaged and give solid mentorship. It's a fantastic environment for learning the ropes in the venture capital industry.
Cons: The career growth path isn't super formalized, so you have to really advocate for yourself. Since it's a smaller VC firm, there aren't tons of upward mobility slots opening up constantly. Sometimes I felt like there should be more structured training programs.
Advice to Management: Consider implementing a more structured career progression plan and some formal training for junior Investment Analyst roles. It would help with retention and clarity for future growth within the VC firm.
