Pros: The base salary for a Recruiter is pretty standard for the staffing industry. I appreciated being able to work remote from day one. Health benefits for employees were actually pretty solid, too.
Cons: Commissions are really hard to earn, making total compensation feel lower. There's not much transparency on how to get significant pay increases for these recruiter roles. It's tough competing with other recruitment agencies.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate commission structures to be more attainable for recruiters. Provide clearer pathways for salary and bonus increases.

Pros: I liked that they offer solid training for entry-level recruiters in the Dallas office. There's a lot of autonomy too, which is great for managing your own pipeline. It's a big, established corporate company, so they have good resources.
Cons: Work-life balance here is tough. As a recruiter, you're always on call, and hitting targets means long hours. Don't expect regular 40-hour weeks in the recruitment industry. It's really sales-driven, which can be draining.
Advice to Management: Try to set more realistic expectations for targets so recruiters don't feel pressured to work excessive hours. Support the teams better.

Pros: You get some flexibility with your schedule if you're hitting your numbers. It's good for hybrid work if you're in the Chicago, IL office. As a Recruiter, managing your own daily tasks is a plus.
Cons: Client demands in the staffing industry can mean really long hours, especially during peak hiring. The sales pressure makes it tough to disconnect after work. Don't expect a strict 40-hour week.
Advice to Management: Focus on better client-recruiter ratios to prevent burnout. Establish clearer boundaries for after-hours communication to help employees truly disconnect.
