Decent place to learn, but job security is a concern
Pros: I learned a lot as a Software Developer here, especially working on new software development projects. The team in the Austin office was super collaborative, and I got to work with some really smart people. It's a decent environment for junior and mid-level engineers to grow their skills in a hybrid work model.
Cons: Job security here is pretty shaky, especially recently. There's a lot of churn, and it feels like layoffs could happen anytime, which makes it tough to focus. Even for senior tech roles, there's not much stability in this mid-sized company.
Advice to Management: Focus on building a more stable environment for your employees. Transparency around company performance and future plans would really help morale and job security concerns.

Decent Job Security, But Not Invincible
Pros: Projects usually keep you busy, so there's not much downtime between client engagements. As an IT Consultant, I've felt pretty secure with the pipeline of work, especially in the Chicago office. They do try to keep people on, which is good for an established company.
Cons: Job security really depends on the market trends in IT consulting. If a big tech client pulls out, things can get a bit uncertain, and I've seen some shuffling. It's not a place where you'll feel absolutely untouchable, especially if your project ends.
Advice to Management: Keep focusing on diversifying the client base. That would really help improve job security for IT consulting roles, especially with market changes. Clearer communication around project transitions would also be a plus.
