Pros: I've mostly had steady 40-hour weeks as a Mechanical Engineer here. They do offer some flexibility if you need to adjust your start time. It's not a bad environment for the aerospace and defense industry.
Cons: Sometimes deadlines in the aerospace and defense industry hit hard. You're expected to stay late and put in extra effort, especially on project completion. It's mostly an onsite work culture, so remote options are super limited.
Advice to Management: Consider more work flexibility options, especially for long-term employees. It would really help with morale.

Pros: For an Aerospace Engineer, the base salary is pretty competitive, especially for new grads. The medical benefits are actually decent, not super expensive like some other defense contractors. They also have a pretty solid 401k match, which is good.
Cons: Beyond the medical, other benefits aren't great. Dental and vision plans feel a bit basic. Merit increases often don't keep up with the cost of living, which is tough in the Cedar Grove, NJ area. It's hard to feel adequately rewarded as you gain experience here.
Advice to Management: Review the compensation structure for experienced aerospace engineers. Make sure merit increases are meaningful and competitive for the New Jersey market to retain talent.

Pros: The job security is solid, especially being in the aerospace and defense industry. You get to work on some genuinely interesting projects, and your colleagues on the manufacturing floor are generally good people. It's a stable company for Production Engineer roles in Montville, NJ.
Cons: The company culture here feels pretty outdated sometimes, not very flexible. It's almost entirely onsite work, so don't expect much work-from-home even for some roles that could probably swing it. There's a resistance to change that can make things move slow.
Advice to Management: Try to embrace some modern approaches to work and company culture. Offering even a little work flexibility could boost morale. Invest in leadership training that emphasizes innovation and open communication, not just tradition.
