Decent Tech Company, Job Security Feels Shaky
Pros: The compensation for Software Engineer roles is actually pretty competitive in the San Francisco Bay Area. We also get pretty solid health benefits. The hybrid work model is a big plus too, gives a good balance.
Cons: Job security here feels a bit shaky sometimes, especially for us in AI/ML development. There have been some reorganizations that make you wonder. Career growth isn't always super clear either, which is tough.
Advice to Management: Leaders need to be more transparent about the company's long-term vision and what that means for different teams, especially for us in core engineering. Make those career paths clearer too.

Decent for a growing tech company
Pros: Job security is actually pretty solid. They've been growing steady, so I haven't heard much about big layoffs since I started. As a remote Software Engineer, I appreciate feeling secure in my role even without being onsite.
Cons: Sometimes project funding seems to shift quickly. It can make you wonder about long-term stability for certain initiatives. There's not always super clear communication when these changes happen, which is a bit tough.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent about project changes and how they might affect teams. It helps with overall team morale and trust.

Solid Flexibility for Senior Roles
Pros: I liked the work flexibility here as a Data Scientist. You can do hybrid work, usually 2-3 days in the San Francisco office. It's great for managing appointments or personal stuff.
Cons: The work flexibility can be harder for more junior roles, though. Project deadlines are tight, so sometimes you're working late regardless. It's not fully remote for anyone.
Advice to Management: Try to offer more consistent work flexibility across all roles, not just senior ones. Maybe clearer guidelines for hybrid schedules.
