Company Summary

Company Reviews

Intellectsoft is a custom software development and AI engineering company that has been building production-grade systems for enterprises since 2007. With 150+ engineers across 10 offices, we work with companies that need more than a vendor - they need a technical partner who can think architecturally, move at product pace, and stay accountable after the contract is signed.

Our approach is architecture-first: every engagement is led by a senior architect who maps the full system before a line of code is written. We apply AI across the delivery lifecycle - not as a feature, but as an engineering practice - and ship 40% faster without accumulating the technical debt that derails AI initiatives at scale.

We build custom software, dedicated engineering teams, AI systems, data platforms, and enterprise design products for globally recognized companies and fast-growing technology businesses. Our clients include EY, Harley-Davidson, the London Stock Exchange, Qualcomm, Jaguar, Naked Energy, Eurostar, and Guinness.

Remote Work-Life Is Okay, But Watch Out For Client Projects
Pros: It's good that I could do remote work as a Software Engineer. The WFH setup saved commute time, which definitely helps with overall flexibility. We generally stuck to 40 hour weeks, which is decent.
Cons: Work-life balance can get tough when client projects demand tight deadlines. Sometimes agile sprints felt really intense, leading to longer hours to meet commitments. There's not always a clear separation between work and personal time.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage client expectations and resource allocation to prevent crunch times. Encourage teams to truly disconnect after their workday, especially for those in software development roles.

Decent for Remote Software Engineers, Career Growth Lags
Pros: Project work is often interesting for a Software Engineer. I've picked up new tech stacks from different client projects. Being remote from my home office is great for work flexibility.
Cons: Career growth path isn't clear at all. There's not much mentorship or structured learning for tech roles. It's tough to move up or get new responsibilities in this tech consulting environment.
Advice to Management: Really need to invest in clear career development plans for technical staff. Offer more mentorship and training for Software Engineer roles.

Leadership needs some work here
Pros: As a Software Engineer, I've worked on pretty interesting projects. The technical challenges in software development are usually good. Also, my direct team members are genuinely awesome and collaborative.
Cons: Leadership can be pretty disconnected from day-to-day operations. There's often a lack of clear strategic direction, especially for larger tech industry initiatives. It makes career growth feel a bit stalled.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to engage more with project teams and listen to feedback. Get more involved in the trenches of software development. Clearer communication from the top would help everyone.
