Decent Flexibility, But Depends on Your Team
Pros: I've liked the hybrid model at Evnek, it's pretty solid for a big tech company. As a Software Engineer, I can usually work from home a couple of days a week. It helps a lot with my commute to the Austin, TX office.
Cons: Sometimes, specific project deadlines make WFH options tough, especially in the week leading up to a release. There's an unwritten expectation to be onsite more often than the policy states if your manager prefers it.
Advice to Management: Be more consistent across teams with hybrid expectations. What's written in policy should be what's practiced by all managers.
