Pros: Some of the senior managers are really sharp and know their stuff, especially in mobile app development. They're good at guiding the engineering teams through complex features. It's a pretty fast-paced environment so you learn a lot.
Cons: Leadership often changes direction quickly, which makes it tough for product roadmaps. There's a bit of micromanagement from some VPs, and that can really slow down a project. Communication from the top down isn't always clear, especially regarding company-wide strategy for this growing tech startup.
Advice to Management: Work on clearer communication and stick to decisions more consistently. Trust your engineering teams to deliver without constant oversight. Reduce micromanagement to empower individual contributors.
