Pros: I've learned a ton about commercial real estate deals. The team in the New York City office is super smart, and you get exposed to big projects quickly. It's a solid place for career growth if you can handle the intensity.
Cons: Work-life balance is definitely a struggle for us Junior Analyst roles. Expect 60+ hour weeks regularly, often into the evenings and weekends. There's not much flexibility, it's mostly an onsite presence and tough to juggle personal stuff.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into better support for junior staff to ease the workload. More flexible hours or a clear 'end of day' expectation would help morale a lot.

Pros: It's a solid place to get your foot in the door if you're looking for real estate investment exposure, especially as a Financial Analyst. You'll see a lot of different commercial property deals in the Dallas office. Good experience for a resume.
Cons: Career growth here feels pretty flat once you get past entry-level roles. There isn't much formal mentorship, and it's tough to see a clear path for advancement. Management seems more focused on current projects than developing staff.
Advice to Management: Establish clearer career progression paths and implement a formal mentorship program for junior staff. Invest more in employee development beyond just current deal flow.
