Decent for a Software Engineer, but watch hours
Pros: Work flexibility is actually pretty good here. I've found that as a Software Engineer in the Los Angeles office, I can usually stick to 40-hour weeks. The vacation policy is solid too.
Cons: It's tough when project deadlines hit; sometimes I'm working more than 40 hours for web development tasks. There's pressure to deliver quickly, which can impact personal time.
Advice to Management: Management should work on more realistic project timelines to help maintain consistent work-life balance, especially for technical roles like Software Engineers.

Pay's Alright, Benefits Could Use a Boost
Pros: As an Associate Software Engineer, the starting salary was pretty competitive for a tech role in Los Angeles. They do have a 401k with a decent match, which is a big plus. It's a solid offer for a company in the internet media industry.
Cons: Health insurance plans aren't great; high deductibles make them tough to actually use. PTO accrual feels really slow, and there isn't much room for remote flexibility if you're hired for an onsite role. Other benefits are just average.
Advice to Management: Look into offering better health insurance options with lower deductibles. Improving PTO accrual rates and providing more work-from-home options for existing onsite staff would also help with retention.
