Solid place, but job security feels shaky
Core Code io has some good aspects, especially the technical work and my team. However, the constant restructuring and rumors make job security a real worry. It's tough to focus on long-term projects when you're not sure about your future at the company. For a mid-size tech company, I expected a bit more stability.
The actual software development work can be pretty engaging. We use a decent tech stack, and as a Software Engineer, I've learned a lot from my smart colleagues. There's a strong focus on technical solutions, and for a mid-size tech company, they do a good job with tooling.
Job security is a real concern here; there's always talk about reorgs or layoffs. It's hard to feel settled when things seem to shift so often. I sometimes feel like leadership isn't transparent enough, which creates unnecessary stress.
Please be more transparent about the company's direction and future plans. Constant reorgs impact morale and make employees, especially in engineering roles, feel like they're on shaky ground. Focus on creating a more stable environment.
