Company Reviews

Imagine a world where flying is as easy as taking a bus. A world where air travel isn't just for the major cities, but for everyone, everywhere. No more congested hubs, no more wasted hours in security lines—just seamless, affordable, on-demand flights connecting thousands of destinations that the world has ignored for too long.

We are building the future of mass aviation: a network of high-frequency, low-cost, 8 seater, STOL (short take-off and landing), medium-haul aircraft that make every city, every town, and every community accessible—without compromise.

Powered by next-generation aircraft, designed ground-up for efficiency, built for affordability, and future-proofed for autonomy, we are aiming to rewrite the rules of flight.

Our aircraft will take off and land in compact "air-stops" no bigger than a parking lot—no baggage belts, no security bottlenecks—eliminating the need for complex, expensive airport infrastructure that regional air travel simply doesn't require.

No more waiting. No more detours. No more being forced to drive when you should be able to fly. This isn't the impractical supersonic future of aviation as you are made to believe. This is the real future of aviation that our communities need.

Leadership needs to listen more, honestly
Pros: The actual aviation projects are pretty cool and the work is engaging. There's good job security for experienced aerospace engineers in the Wichita, KS office, which is a big plus. My immediate team is also full of smart, helpful people.
Cons: Upper management at this corporate defense contractor often seems pretty disconnected from our daily engineering realities. Decisions feel very top-down, and it's tough to get real input considered for project roadmaps. Transparency around company goals for aerospace initiatives could be way better.
Advice to Management: Try to engage more directly with the teams on the ground floor. Real feedback from aerospace engineers could genuinely improve project outcomes and team morale. Show some more trust in your mid-level managers too.

Flexibility Is a Work in Progress for LAT Aerospace
Pros: There are some glimmers of hope. As an Aerospace Engineer, I've seen a few teams get approval for a compressed work week, which is nice. For us onsite folks in the Seattle office, managers are generally okay if you need to shift your hours for appointments, as long as the work gets done.
Cons: But overall, work flexibility just isn't there for most roles. This is a very traditional aerospace industry company, so remote work or even hybrid schedules are rare. You're mostly expected to be onsite five days a week, no matter your position. It can make life tough.
Advice to Management: Please consider more hybrid options for roles that don't require constant onsite presence. Embracing modern work models would definitely help with employee retention, especially for younger talent in the aerospace industry.
