Pros: I got to learn a lot about banking technology, which was really good for my career. As a Software Engineer, I worked on some cutting-edge payments processing projects. The hybrid work model also helped a bit with the commute to the Fort Lee, NJ office.
Cons: Work-life balance was a real challenge; I often found myself working late nights. Project deadlines felt super aggressive for a mid-sized company. There wasn't much flexibility once projects ramped up.
Advice to Management: Consider more realistic project timelines and better resource allocation. It would really help employees maintain a healthier work-life balance.
