Solid WLB for Engineers in Process Automation
Pros: I really liked the flexibility of remote work. As a Software Engineer, I could usually keep a pretty consistent 40-hour week. The emphasis on asynchronous communication in this BPM industry helps a lot.
Cons: There are definitely crunch times, especially before big platform releases. Sometimes the expectations for quick turnaround on workflow orchestration projects feel a bit high. It can be tough to truly log off sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage release schedules to avoid last-minute rushes for development teams. Support for junior Software Engineer roles could be improved to prevent burnout.

Solid Remote Flexibility for Software Engineers
Pros: As a Software Engineer, I've had really good work flexibility here. Being remote from the US means I can manage my day around personal stuff. They trust us to get our work done in this workflow automation software space.
Cons: Sometimes team syncs or sprint deadlines can feel a bit rigid, even with the flexibility. It's tough to completely switch off when you know the work is there.
Advice to Management: Keep fostering the flexible work environment. Maybe encourage more clear boundaries around 'off-hours' expectations for remote teams.

Great WFH, but Growth Path is Unclear
Pros: I really liked being a Software Engineer here. The WFH setup is fantastic, giving you lots of flexibility. We got to work with some pretty cool tech in the process automation space.
Cons: Career growth can feel pretty stagnant after a while. There aren't clear promotion paths, especially for individual contributors. You often have to really push for new opportunities yourself.
Advice to Management: Please create more defined and transparent career progression frameworks for technical roles. It would help a lot with retention and employee motivation.
