Good Product, Leadership Needs Work
Pros: The work-life balance is decent, especially for remote technical roles. I liked working on the core remote connectivity software; it's a solid product. My immediate team was always supportive and smart, which made day-to-day tasks much easier.
Cons: Leadership often felt disconnected from the engineering teams. Decisions would change pretty quickly, making it tough for projects to stay on track. There aren't very clear growth paths for individual contributors, which was a bit frustrating for career progression.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer communication and more consistent strategy from the top. Give teams more autonomy to execute without constant shifts in direction.

Leadership Needs to Step Up Game
Pros: The best part is the remote work flexibility; it's a huge plus. My team as a Technical Support Specialist is pretty collaborative and helpful, which makes the day easier. Pay is decent for the IT software industry.
Cons: Leadership is tough here; there's often no clear strategy from the top. Upper management really needs to understand what support staff actually deals with daily. It's hard to see any real career growth path when direction changes all the time.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer communication and try to be more in tune with what frontline employees face daily. Providing consistent direction would help a lot with employee morale and retention.

Culture is okay, but it's changing
Pros: I liked the initial team vibe as a Software Engineer. We had good collaboration on our remote access and IT management products. The option for remote work is a huge plus.
Cons: Lately, it feels more corporate and less like the innovative place it was. The push for a hybrid model has made things feel a bit disjointed. There's less natural team building now within the corporate environment.
Advice to Management: Management needs to focus on rebuilding team morale. Listen to employees about work arrangements, especially for those in remote or hybrid roles. Don't lose the startup spirit completely.

Job Security is Okay, But Growth is Slow
Pros: I've learned a lot about remote connectivity software and endpoint management here. The Technical Support Specialist role in the Tampa office gives good exposure to different customer issues. It's a decent place if you want stable, routine work.
Cons: Job security isn't bad for current employees, but the career growth path feels really undefined. There aren't many opportunities to move up, especially in support. The company feels like a big tech player, but internal mobility isn't its strength.
Advice to Management: Management needs to invest more in clear career development plans, especially for those in customer-facing roles. Offer more internal training for advanced remote access software skills.

Job Security Feels Shaky, Good Remote Work Though
Pros: I liked the remote work flexibility a lot; it really helped with my daily schedule. The product itself is solid, and for Software Engineer roles, the technical challenges were decent. My team was pretty supportive too.
Cons: The biggest issue was job security. There were constant talks about restructuring, and we saw several rounds of layoffs during my time. It's tough to plan your career when you're always wondering if your role will exist next quarter.
Advice to Management: Management needs to be more transparent about the company's direction and future plans. More consistent communication about job roles and avoiding sudden layoffs would really help morale and job security for employees.

Decent flexibility if you're proactive.
Pros: I like the hybrid model; it's a solid perk for us in the remote access software industry. You get some WFH days each week, which really helps with personal stuff and avoiding the Tampa traffic.
Cons: Sometimes it feels like there's an expectation to be in the office more often than advertised, especially for sprint planning. As a Software Engineer, I'd hope for more consistent remote work options without the subtle pressure to come in.
Advice to Management: Stick to the advertised hybrid model without creating unspoken pressures to be onsite. Trust your teams to deliver good work regardless of location and avoid micromanagement.

Culture has its moments, very corporate
Pros: You'll find some really smart people here, especially in the development teams. As a Software Engineer, I appreciated the chance to collaborate. The work flexibility for WFH is also a solid plus, it helps with work-life balance.
Cons: It's a big tech company, and sometimes it feels too corporate. Decision-making can be slow with a lot of bureaucracy. It's not a very dynamic or innovative culture, especially from upper management. There's a lot of talk, not much action.
Advice to Management: Management should really work on fostering a more innovative and less bureaucratic environment. Listen more to the teams on the ground. Make the culture feel less stiff and more collaborative across departments, not just within small teams.

Job Security is There, But You Earn It
Pros: Working for a well-known name in the remote connectivity software space definitely helps with a feeling of stability. As a Technical Support Specialist, there's always a need for help, and the company is pretty established. They're not a startup, so there's less volatility than smaller tech companies.
Cons: Job security really depends on your performance metrics. If you miss your KPIs for a couple of quarters, you'll feel the pressure. There have been some internal reorganizations in other departments, which makes everyone a bit nervous, even for us in the Tampa, FL office.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent about company direction and potential changes. It helps reduce anxiety and improve morale, especially when people are worried about their roles in this SaaS industry.

Okay culture for a remote software company
Pros: I liked the flexibility of working remote as a Software Engineer. It's great for work-life balance, letting me manage my day. The core remote connectivity product itself is pretty robust and has a decent market share in the SaaS industry.
Cons: The company culture feels a bit disconnected, especially in a fully remote setup. There isn't much effort for team bonding or cross-functional collaboration. Sometimes, it felt like everyone was just doing their own thing without a strong sense of community.
Advice to Management: Try to foster more team interaction, even for remote employees. Maybe more virtual social events or dedicated project collaboration time. It would help build a stronger, more cohesive company culture.

Leadership's a Mixed Bag at This Global Tech Company
Pros: I've learned a ton working on cutting-edge remote desktop software. The team dynamic among engineers is solid, and there's a good push for innovative connectivity solutions. Plus, being remote from the US is a huge plus for my work-life balance.
Cons: Leadership often feels disconnected from the ground level. Decisions can be pretty top-down, which slows down development for us on the engineering side. Communication from management about strategic shifts could definitely be better.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent with us on the engineering teams. Involve your senior ICs more in strategic planning for product development. It would really help with morale and execution.
