Pros: As a Software Engineer focusing on API development, I appreciate the collaborative culture and supportive teammates. There are solid learning opportunities, and leadership has a clear vision for advancing the API industry. The flexible, hybrid work model helps maintain a good work-life balance, making it a great place to grow my career in tech.
Cons: Sometimes, communication from leadership regarding company-wide changes could be more consistent, especially with our rapid growth. The path to promotion could also be clearer.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining internal communication channels and providing clearer guidelines for career progression and promotions as the company continues its rapid growth. This would help employees feel more aligned and understand their development path better.

Pros: The fully remote setup is a huge plus, especially as a Software Engineer. I worked from California and didn't have to commute. It's awesome for work-life balance and managing personal appointments. We do a lot of async work, which helps with developer tools and API development tasks.
Cons: Sometimes there are too many meetings. It's tough to find a good time for everyone across different time zones. You might have late afternoon or early morning calls fairly often. It can mess with the 'work flexibility' vibe they promote.
Advice to Management: Try to cut down on mandatory meetings. Encourage more async communication even for urgent topics. It would help improve the remote employee experience for everyone.

Pros: As a Software Engineer, the projects in API development were genuinely engaging. I really enjoyed the collaborative team environment, and our WFH setup was fantastic.
Cons: Job security here felt a bit iffy at times. There's been a lot of internal restructuring, which makes you nervous about layoffs. The leadership can change direction pretty fast, impacting long-term project stability in the developer tools space.
Advice to Management: Try to provide more clarity on overall company direction and future plans. Stabilizing teams would definitely help improve job security for the engineers.
