Decent Work-Life, But Expect Crunch Times
It's a fast-paced environment where you'll learn a lot. Work-life balance is decent most of the time, but prepare for intense periods.
I really liked the flexibility being remote from Texas offered. As a Software Engineer, I could usually manage my own schedule. It's a solid perk for an AI tech company.
But, when deadlines hit, work-life balance can go out the window. There's a real startup push, so 50-60 hour weeks aren't uncommon during releases. It's tough.
Management should really try to protect employee time better during crunch periods. Burnout is a real concern for folks working in AI and it impacts retention.
