Decent Benefits, Pay Could Be Better for Cloud
Pros: The health insurance benefits are solid, and the 401k match is pretty good for a big tech company. I appreciate the remote work flexibility; it's a real plus, especially remote from Arizona.
Cons: As a Senior Software Engineer, the base salary felt a bit low compared to other companies in the contact center software space. Raises aren't very strong year-over-year, and bonuses aren't always predictable.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the compensation structure for engineering roles. Make sure salaries are competitive with other enterprise software providers, especially for those working on cloud solutions. Better annual raises would help retain talent.

Good flexibility for cloud solutions roles
Pros: I loved the hybrid work model here. As a Software Engineer, I could mostly work remote from Phoenix, only coming into the office for team events. This really helped my work-life balance.
Cons: Not all teams have the same level of flexibility, which is a bit tough. Sometimes, working on critical contact center software projects means less personal schedule control. It's not a truly WFH company for everyone.
Advice to Management: Standardize flexibility policies across all engineering and product teams. It would help retain talent working on cloud solutions.

Okay Pay, Benefits Could Be Better for Engineers
Pros: The base salary for a `Software Engineer` is pretty solid, and the `remote work` option is a huge plus. Health insurance is good, definitely covers a lot. It's a stable company in the `SaaS industry`.
Cons: The stock options don't really move the needle, and I've seen better 401k matches at other places. Annual raises can be kinda low, especially when you consider market rates for `engineering roles`.
Advice to Management: Consider boosting the stock compensation and 401k match to really compete for top `engineering talent`. Make sure annual raises reflect the market more closely.
