Sinch Pay is Okay, Benefits Could Be Better
Pros: As a Software Engineer remote from Texas, the base salary here is solid. I've found the health benefits package for the CPaaS industry to be decent, especially medical coverage.
Cons: The bonus structure isn't very clear, and raises are pretty minimal year-to-year. Stock options aren't what you'd see at bigger tech companies, so total compensation isn't top-tier.

Solid Pay, Benefits Could Be Better
Pros: Pay for my Solutions Architect role was competitive, especially for remote work. The base salary felt fair for the big tech company space. Health insurance is decent, which is always a plus.
Cons: The 401k match isn't great, honestly. It's kinda low for the industry. Other benefits, like parental leave, aren't as robust as some competitors in the telecom API space. You might find better perks elsewhere.

Okay for now, but growth path is hazy
Pros: I enjoyed the flexibility of remote work, which was a huge plus for my work-life balance. The team is generally supportive, and I learned a lot about CPaaS solutions. There's good exposure to various enterprise clients.
Cons: Career growth felt pretty stagnant as a Customer Success Manager. It's tough to move up, or even sideways into different roles like product management, without a lot of self-advocacy. Internal promotion opportunities aren't always clear, and there isn't much structured mentorship.
Advice to Management: Create more transparent career ladders and provide better internal mobility programs. Invest in structured professional development for employees, especially for roles like Customer Success.
