Good Place for Engineers, Solid Work-Life Balance
Pros: The work flexibility, especially the hybrid arrangement, is excellent for my work-life balance as a Software Engineer. The team is collaborative, and I get good opportunities to learn new technologies in the software industry. It's a stable company, which I value greatly.
Cons: Internal approval processes can sometimes be slow, occasionally delaying projects. Clearer communication on evolving project roadmaps across teams would also be helpful. These are minor points, but could improve efficiency.
Advice to Management: I think improving internal communication around project timelines and roadmap changes would be really helpful for all teams. Sometimes things shift quickly, and it's hard to adapt. Also, streamlining some of the internal approval processes could speed things up.

Work-Life is Decent, Can Get Busy
Pros: The hybrid model is good for Software Developers here. I've found the remote flexibility solid, especially when I needed to WFH for appointments. It's a big plus at this mid-sized tech company.
Cons: The work-life balance takes a hit during project deadlines. We often have to put in extra hours for client projects, even working remote from Texas. Weekends can feel invaded sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to protect employees' personal time during crunch periods. Better project planning could ease the pressure on Software Developers.

WFH is good, but hours can be tough
Pros: As a Junior Software Developer at AquSag Technologies, I really appreciate the remote work option. Being able to WFH from Seattle, WA, is a huge plus, saving me commute time and money. They're pretty chill about adjusting your schedule if you have an appointment, which is nice for personal stuff.
Cons: Sometimes, though, the 'flexibility' means working really late if you're stuck on a project for clients in different time zones. There isn't a solid 'core hours' policy, so it can feel like you're always on call for the IT solutions team. It's tough to truly unplug when you know others might be online at weird times.
Advice to Management: Establish clearer core hours for remote employees to prevent burnout. It's hard for developers to disconnect when the workday feels endless.
