Pretty Stable for Engineering Roles Here
Pros: Job security here is pretty solid if you're a Software Engineer. Jupiter Systems has been around for a while in enterprise IT solutions, so it's not a fly-by-night operation. They don't seem to do big, unexpected layoffs often.
Cons: It can feel a bit stagnant for career growth in technical roles. Sometimes promotions are really slow coming. The path to senior positions isn't always clear for engineers in the Seattle, WA office.
Advice to Management: Try to create clearer paths for career advancement for Software Engineer roles. Invest more in internal development programs and mentorship.

Solid pay, but career growth is tough
Pros: The compensation for a Software Engineer here is pretty solid, especially for San Jose, CA. You get decent benefits and the hybrid work model gives some flexibility. It's a stable big tech company.
Cons: Career growth feels really stagnant. There aren't many opportunities to move up, even after years in the same role. For a big tech firm, the internal mobility for a Software Engineer isn't great, and sometimes I feel pigeonholed.
Advice to Management: Create clearer paths for career advancement and invest in skill development for employees. It would help with retention.
