Job security isn't its strong suit
Pros: The actual software development work is interesting, and the team is really collaborative. We get to work on some cool tech in this startup environment. The health benefits are actually pretty decent for a company this size.
Cons: Job security is a huge concern here, especially for a Software Engineer. There have been several layoff rounds, and it's tough to feel stable. Leadership hasn't been very transparent about the company's future in the tech industry.
Advice to Management: Please be more open with employees about the company's financial state and long-term vision. It's really hard to commit when job security feels so low.
