Pros: I really liked my team; everyone in the Austin office was super supportive and collaborative. The benefits are decent for a tech company, and the hybrid work model is a huge plus for work-life balance. We get solid health insurance and a good 401k match.
Cons: Career growth for a Software Engineer here is pretty slow, honestly. There aren't many clear paths for promotion, especially if you're not in a senior role already. You really have to push hard to get new responsibilities in the SaaS product development area.
Advice to Management: Management should create more defined career ladders for individual contributors in engineering. Make sure people understand what they need to do to get to the next level.

Pros: As a Software Engineer, the hybrid model at Vantor is pretty decent. We can work remotely a couple days a week. It helps a lot with the commute in the San Francisco office.
Cons: But, there's a strict expectation to be in the office three days. It doesn't offer full remote options for tech roles. Sometimes the "flexibility" feels more like a fixed schedule than true choice.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more fully remote options for certain engineering positions. True flexibility would make a big difference for retention.
