Leadership has good intentions but needs consistency
Pros: You get decent exposure to real architectural design projects quickly. Senior architects are usually solid mentors, helping new Architectural Designers learn the ropes in the Atlanta office. It's a mid-sized firm, so you're not just a number.
Cons: Top leadership can feel a bit disconnected from the day-to-day work, which makes project deadlines stressful. Feedback isn't always consistent, leaving you guessing sometimes. The overall vision for the firm could be clearer.
Advice to Management: Try to be more present in project-level discussions and provide clearer, more consistent direction. Invest in leadership training for project managers and senior staff to improve feedback quality for junior architects.
