Career Growth: Not Much Movement for Engineers
Pros: I definitely learned a lot about the Elementor no-code platform and got good exposure to the WordPress development ecosystem. The team was pretty supportive, and working remote gave me decent work flexibility.
Cons: The biggest con was the lack of clear career growth paths for technical roles. As a Software Engineer, it felt like there wasn't much opportunity to move up. You can get stuck in your current role even with good performance reviews.
Advice to Management: Management should really work on creating clearer progression frameworks, especially for engineering and other core technical roles. Invest in mentorship and internal promotion to keep talented people from feeling stagnant.
