Pros: The team is generally good, and the work schedule as an Export Coordinator is pretty regular. You usually get your 40 hours a week without much overtime. It's a stable, mid-sized company so job security feels decent.
Cons: Career growth here is tough. There aren't many opportunities to move up, especially in the export logistics department. Training for advancement isn't really a thing. It often feels like you're stuck in your current role with little room to develop new skills or take on bigger projects within the tool export industry.
Advice to Management: Think about creating more structured career paths for employees. Offer training or opportunities to cross-train in different areas. This would really help with retention and motivation for people in specialized roles.

Pros: For a Logistics Coordinator, most weeks are a solid 40 hours. You can usually leave the Birmingham office on time. It's good that they don't push for crazy overtime during normal periods in the tools export business.
Cons: When there are big shipping deadlines or supply chain issues, expect to stay late. It's tough to maintain that work-life balance then. The pressure for export operations can sometimes spill into your personal time.
Advice to Management: Try to staff up during busy periods to avoid burnout for the core team, especially in export operations. This would really help work-life balance for onsite roles.
