Pros: For us in software development, project stability is decent. I felt pretty secure as a Software Engineer, especially on core product teams. The company doesn't do mass layoffs often, which is a big plus for a mid-sized tech company.
Cons: There's a constant feeling of reorgs happening, which can make you wonder about your role's future. If you're not on a critical project, I've heard job security can feel a bit shaky for support roles in the Austin, TX office.
Advice to Management: Improve communication around upcoming changes and how they might impact different departments. Be more transparent about long-term company vision to reduce employee anxiety about job security.
