Pros: It's great working at Razer as a Software Engineer. The team in San Francisco is really passionate, especially about the gaming industry and cutting-edge tech. I've found a good amount of work flexibility, which helps a lot with my personal life. There are always interesting problems to solve and lots of chances to learn new things, which keeps the job engaging and keeps my skills sharp. The collaborative environment is a big plus here.
Cons: Sometimes the pace can be super fast, especially leading up to product launches, which means some busy periods. While there's a lot of exciting new development, we do occasionally deal with legacy systems that can slow things down. Also, career progression sometimes feels like it requires a lot of self-advocacy, it's not always super clear-cut for every role.
Advice to Management: Continue to foster the strong team environment. Consider streamlining and standardizing career progression paths to make it clearer for employees looking to advance within the company.
