Pros: As a Department Manager, it's pretty solid for a big corporate retailer. You can usually swap shifts with other associates in the Dallas, TX stores if you plan ahead. They're okay about planned time off if you put it in early.
Cons: Unexpected flexibility? Forget about it for most hourly retail roles. You're often stuck with your set schedule, especially during peak seasons. Work from home isn't really an option for front-line store employees.
Advice to Management: Try to offer more predictable scheduling or incentive programs for shift swaps. It would help a lot with associate morale in our Dallas, TX operations.
