Major Duties: Conducts initial review and analysis of all Ethics requests assigned to Global Compliance Ethics TeamAdministers all Ethics Requests assigned to Global Compliance Ethics TeamRoutes requests to the appropriate Ethics DesigneesEscalates ethics requests to onshore process manager when necessaryFollows up to ensure request approval are given on a timely mannerAnswers all inquiries related to ethics requests and disclosuresProvides guidance in navigating ethics platform and give assistance in resolving simple system issuesCommunicates or reports complex system issue to vendor support teamAnalyzes ethics request trends through system reporting capabilitiesAssists other compliance teams generate periodic reports through ethics platformSupports Compliance Departments projectsAssists with Process developmentGathers and analyzes data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedentImpacts own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related; suggests improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team Knowledge: Requires organizational skills required to coordinate with several stakeholdersApplies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experienceProficient in Microsoft office, particularly excelExcellent written and oral communication skillsRequires advanced or specialized skills and expertise in a range of processes, procedures and systemsUnderstands how related teams coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve objectivesExchanged ideas and information effectively with others outside of own team and evaluates and communicates unusual and/or complex content in a clear manner Experience: Bachelor’s degree2 - 3+ years of professional work experience in Financial Industry with Corporate Ethics experience in a financial institution is highly preferredAs a specialist or lead for the team, may allocate work and provide subject matter guidance to team members with less experience Working with Us: As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
