You are invited to apply for the position of Middle School Intervention Teacher at Laker Schools in Huron County, Michigan. POSITION: Middle School Math/Reading Intervention Teacher
Required Qualifications
- Hold a valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in either Mathematics or English Language Arts (ELA)/Reading for the middle school grade bands.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze academic data (e.g., STAR, state testing, formative assessments) to diagnose student needs and track progress.
- Flexible, collaborative, and committed to continuous professional growth and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted, evidence-based math and reading interventions.
- Monitor, record, and communicate student progress regularly to adjust instructional plans.
- Collaborate with other teachers and administration to align intervention strategies with core classroom instruction.
